Compassion Bridge Initiative Uganda believes that every child deserves the opportunity to learn. Through the Global Compassion Coalition Connectors Programme, our Director connected with Davina from Australia, beginning a partnership that has transformed the lives of vulnerable children in Kamuli District.
With the support of Davina and her family, dozens of children have remained in school, continued their education and discovered new hope for their future. The children holding the “Thank You Davina” banner represent far more than gratitude—they represent lives that have been changed through compassion, friendship and generosity.

Compassion Bridge Initiative Uganda is a community-based organisation committed to improving the quality of life of vulnerable children, families and communities in Uganda, with a special focus on underserved communities in Kamuli District, Eastern Uganda.
We work to create opportunities for vulnerable people through education support, health promotion, vocational skills development, livelihood empowerment, child protection, psychosocial support and sustainable community development initiatives.

Peter Waiswa is an Accountant by profession and co-founder of Compassion Bridge Initiative Uganda.
He also serves as the National Coordinator of the Global Compassion Coalition Connectors Programme in Uganda and is passionate about education, community development and child protection.
